This set of two stoneware cups is part of the Ensemble series, hand-built in late 2025 by Pauline Hagan using the ancient coiling technique. Twice-fired at high temperatures, the cups are fully glazed and watertight. The high stone and sand content of the clay creates a textured, matte finish in a light, yellow-toned beige.
The Ensemble series incorporates Pauline’s ever-favourite spiral, a meaningful motif representing the cycle of life, birth and renewal. The pieces from this collection are inspired by the spiral ironwork details found in Pauline’s parents’ garden.
Height: 6.5cm
Width: 8cm at its widest (including handle)
